Despite the difficulty of expressing complex characters and plots in dance drama, it is the most romantic art. I structured dance drama in the form of a "chapter novel." Two lines were designed in "Eighteen Stanzas in Nomadic Reed Pipe": one plot line, Cai Wenji returned to the Han from the northern lands and wrote a poem—"Eighteen Stanzas in Nomadic Reed Pipe". The second line is an emotional line, the helplessness and suffering of forced separation from her children.
